NEWARK – Newark High School is hosting a swearing‐in ceremony for Judge Craig Baldwin, who was appointed to the Fifth District Court of Appeals earlier this year, at 11 a.m. on Friday, April 26, in the auditorium, 314 Granville St.
U.S. Southern District Court Judge Greg Frost, a 1967 graduate of Newark High School, will swear in Baldwin, a 1982 graduate.Baldwin is the first Licking County judge to be appointed to the Fifth District Court of Appeals in more than 100 years. The court handles cases in 15 Ohio counties: Ashland, Coshocton, Delaware, Fairfield, Guernsey, Holmes, Knox, Licking, Morgan, Morrow, Muskingum, Perry, Richland, Stark and Tuscarawas.
