Julie A. Troendly
Julie A. Troendly, 62, of Fresno, passed away at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus on Thursday September 11, 2014. Julie was born in Coshocton on October 28, 1951 to the late Francis and Joyce (Barrett) Thomas. She graduated from Ridgewood High School and went on to earn her teaching degree from Miami University of Ohio. Julie taught at Ridgewood for 34 years. She was also a member of the West Lafayette United Methodist Church, active in United Methodist Women, participated in the local farmers markets, 4-H leader for 15 years and volunteered at Ridgewood Schools. Julie loved spending time with her family, planning annual family vacations, cooking, baking and was a well known pie maker. She is survived by her loving husband Stephen Troendly whom she married on June 9, 1973; three devoted children Ben Troendly of Coshocton, Sarah (Chris) Armintrout of Warsaw and Aaron Troendly of Fresno; one special grandson Hoyt Armintrout; caring sister Linda Miller of West Lafayette; numerous nieces and nephews and her loving feline companions at home. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother in law Wayne Miller. Friends may call at The Miller Funeral Home, 639 Main St., Coshocton on Sunday September 14, 2014 from 2:00 PM – 5:00 PM and one hour prior to the service on Monday. Funeral services for Julie will be held at the West Lafayette United Methodist Church, 120 W. Union Ave., West Lafayette on Monday at 11:00 AM with Rev. Dr. William E. Buckeye officiating. Interment will follow in Fairfield Cemetery, West Lafayette. Memorial contributions may be directed to The Living Memorial Fund and/or West Lafayette United Methodist Church, envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
