Junior Fair 4-H speaks on variety of topics at fair
Participants in Jr. Fair 4-H Speaking Opportunities entertained their audience with a variety of topics ranging from county fair history, hunting safety, raising ducks, leaders and heroes, becoming a master speaker, and the fun of raising goats. Members also presented their speeches for WTNS radio audiences.
Ten 4-H members and two Cloverbuds participated in the Sunday evening or Tuesday morning speaking opportunities. Judges evaluated members’ speeches for content, creativity, organization, vocal delivery, and presentation.
Earning superior rosettes: Josie Fornara of Sew & So’s, and Jaxon Rinkes of This-N-That.
Earning excellent rosettes: Joe Bachelor of Active Achievers, Will Fornara of Sew & So’s, Issac Egbert of Krafty Kritters, Hunter Winegar of Winner, and Elisha Hamric of Magic Makers.
Earning very good rosettes: Kory Rinehart of Keene Jr. Farmers, Abigail Lillibridge of Green Acres, and Rebekah Lillibridge of Green Acres.
Cloverbud Kendall Hoffman of Extreme Achievers presented the 4-H Pledge and the 4-H Motto. Cloverbud Ryan Greten of This’n’That 4-H Club presented the 4-H Colors.
Rosettes are provided by the Coshocton County Agricultural Society. Speaking Incentive Awards are provided by the Coshocton County 4-H Endowment Fund. Judges were provided by Coshocton Rotary and 4-H alumni.
