Kacee Nicole Parks

Kacee Nicole Parks, 28, of Coshocton passed away on September 12, 2023 at the Ohio State Wexner Medical Center. She was born on January 11, 1995 in Coshocton, Ohio to Scott (Tracy) Parks and Stephanie (Eric) Babcock. She worked at Buehler’s Bakery and loved her Buehler’s work family. They gave her the nickname, “Cupcake.” She had a servant heart, always reaching out to help others. Loved all things Harry Potter and Friends. She enjoyed collecting and having an obsession with anything that had pineapples. Kacee loved to chew gum and never went anywhere without it. Most importantly Kacee, was always smiling and will be remembered for her cheerful spirit.

Along with her parents, she is survived by her siblings, Clay (Victoria) Parks and Macy Parks; grandparents, Bess Van Atta, Dixie (Ben) Wilson and Betty Parks; cousins and first set of best friends, Taryn, Emma, Tressel, Devon, Tristyn, and Branson Van Atta, Kaelynn Ogle, Kami Bevins, Skylor, Brice and Taura Dennis; aunts and uncles, Rob (Leann) Van Atta, Tyler Van Atta, Carrie Gough, Kelle Kiner, Tonya (Chris) Bevins and Traci (Eric) Dennis; her pride and joy, niece, Aimee Marie and nephew, Isaac Griffey. She had a strong connection to the children that she babysat, Maeve, Sadler and Storm Gentile and Cody, Briley and Annabelle Daniels. She is also survived by many other extended aunts, uncles and cousins.

She is preceded in death by her grandparents on her maternal side, Robert Van Atta, Florence and Bill Foglesong and Raymond Sibert and on her paternal side, Jerry Parks, Wayne Parks and Pauline and George Smith.

She was raised in the Coshocton Church of the Nazarene, making it fitting to honor her there. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, September 28, 2023 at 5pm with her youth Pastor, Brian Daniels to officiate.

Her favorite bible verse was, Jeremiah 29:11, “For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not harm you, plans to give you home and a future.”

A heartfelt “Thank you” goes to all the medical staff from Genesis and the James Cancer Center who had been giving her the best care the last four months.
