Karen Irene (Albertson) Shroyer
Karen Irene (Albertson) Shroyer, 79, died Saturday, July 13, 2024 at Altercare of Coshocton.
She was born March 2, 1945 in Coshocton Co. to the late Ralph and Irene (Phillips) Albertson. She worked in the kitchen and the former Coshocton Health & Rehabilitation Center for many years until her retirement. She was a member of Conesville United Methodist Church.
Karen was a very giving person. She was always there to help those in need and took care of all those she loved. She enjoyed shopping, but mostly just spending any time she could with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
She is survived by her children, Darren (Marty) Shroyer of Coshocton, and Denette Conley of Newcomerstown; grandchildren, Deric (Erin) Shroyer of Coshocton, Eric (Candace) Shroyer of McDonald, PA, Kevin Shroyer (Samantha English) of West Lafayette, David Conley (Jose) of Maine, Drew Conley (Alex) and family of West Lafayette, and Michael Hardesty of Mansfield; great-grandchildren, Beau Michael Hardesty, Kinley Ellen Irene Hardesty, Kadence Shroyer, Knox Shroyer, Kalob Thompson, Kyley Thompson, Kamry Tubbs, and Paytyn Tubbs; a sister, Shirley Vickers of Conesville, a brother, Rodney (Faye Ann) Albertson of Conesville; several nieces and nephews; and a sister-in-law, Patty Albertson of Conesville.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Robert Albertson, and Eugene (Beverly) Albertson.
A graveside service will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, July 20, 2024 at Franklin Cemetery, with Pastor Bill Jones officiating. Fischer Funeral Home in Warsaw is handling arrangements. FischerFuneralHome.com
