Karen R. Phillips
Karen R. Phillips, 65, passed away Saturday, Jan. 25, 2020. She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Helen (Kerlee) Richards. Karen is survived by her husband, Jeffrey Phillips, who she married on June 3, 1983; her daughter, Kelly (Lloyd) McPherson; a son, Michael Phillips; and grandchildren, Wesson, Gavin, Braxton and Emma. She is also survived by her sister, Elizabeth Richards; brother, Tom (Dianna) Richards; and niece, Lynzie (Javen) Troyer.
Karen was a retired school teacher at West Muskingum Elementary. She enjoyed cooking, going to thrift stores and spoiling her grandchildren.
Private services were held Thursday, Jan. 30 with Father Ronald J. Aubry officiating. Burial took place in Killbuck Cemetery. Alexander Funeral Home assisted the family with making arrangements.
