Kenneth L. Sherrets

Kenneth Lee “Kenny” Sherrets, 64, loving father, grandfather, son, brother and uncle, passed away at home March 25, 2025.

He was born June 1, 1960 in Coshocton to Larry L. and Marcia (Harding) Sherrets. He was a 1978 graduate of River View High School, and he worked for a time at The Longaberger Co. The majority of his career was spent working along side his father. He was very skilled in many areas, and worked well with his hands.

Kenny was an avid OSU fan, loved NASCAR, and anything Ford, especially Mustangs. He enjoyed playing basketball, but more than anything he loved and adored his grandchildren.

He is survived by two sons, Kevin (Lindsay) Sherrets of Cranberry, PA, and Kyle (Rachel) Sherrets of Marysville; three grandchildren, Sloane Sherrets, Quinn Sherrets, and Finn Reedy; his mother, Marcia Sherrets of Zanesville; sisters, Kay Shields of Warsaw, and Connie (James) White of Baltimore; nieces & nephews, Jason (Jamie) Beatty of Warsaw, Justin Shields (Lecretia Holbert) of Inman, SC, Joshua (Heather) Shields of Inman, SC, and Nathan (Danay) White of Baltimore; uncles, Donald (Barbara) Sherrets of New Philadelphia, Paul Harding of Fredericktown, and Lee Harding of South Carolina; an aunt, Carol Darr of South Carolina; his longtime friend and her son, Beth Hampp & Levi (Nikki) Hampp, and their children.

He was preceded in death by his father, Larry Sherrets; grandparents, Martin & Bernice Sherrets, and Frank & Ruby Harding; and a brother-in-law, Jerry Shields.
