Kenneth W. Chaney
COSHOCTON – Kenneth Ward Chaney, 84, a resident of the Coshocton Health and Rehabilitation Center died Wednesday, July 24, 2013 at the care center.
He was born Feb. 8, 1929 in Coshocton to the late Henry Ward and Wilma Ruby (Young) Chaney.
Kenney was a truck driver. He enjoyed his Corvair and going to car shows. He also loved camping, fishing, and playing bingo at the care center.
He is survived by his daughter, Ruby (Charles) Helmick of Warsaw. His son, Rusty (Judy) Chaney of Canal Lewisville. Seven granddaughters, Jody Rice (Mark Williams) of Warsaw, Amy (Aaron) Nadolson of St. Louisville, Toyia (Rick) Wheeler of Warsaw, Tara (Colt) Lewis of Coshocton, Michelle (David) Fortney of Zanesville, Melissa (Chaz) West of Coshocton, and Mary (Bobbi) Wright of Coshocton. Eleven great grandchildren, Dominique & Donovan Rice, Austin Nadolson, Adam & Bella Wheeler, Ava & Remmington Lewis, Taz & Ashland Coffey, Breanna Fortney, and Gage Wright. Special friends, Tom Michaels of Coshocton and Charlie Wright of the care center.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Electa June (Hupp) Chaney, whom he married Sept. 20, 1949, she died April 13, 2006. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Donald L. Chaney.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, July 28, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at the Fischer Funeral Home in Warsaw with Pastor Mark Granger officiating. Burial will be in the Valley View Cemetery at Warasw. Visitation is Saturday, July 27, 2013 from 3-5 p.m. and until service time on Sunday. www.fischerfuneralhome.com.
