Kindergarten registration set for River View Schools
WARSAW – The kindergarten registration date for River View Local Schools has been scheduled. If you have a child or know of a child who will be five on or before Aug. 1, 2019, please call the elementary building where the child will attend to receive a registration packet. You can also go online to the River View Schools website to pre-register your child.
On-site registration date is Thursday, April 4, at 5:30 p.m. for Conesville, Keene, and Warsaw Elementary. Parents only are asked to attend these registration sessions to gather information on how to prepare their child for kindergarten. Parents will complete required paperwork and schedule a time for your child to be screened. Attention Union/Warsaw parents: Due to the consolidation of Union and Warsaw schools, all kindergarten registrations and screenings will take place at Warsaw Elementary.
Screening dates for the students are:
Conesville: Thursday, April 25
Keene: Tuesday, April 23
Warsaw: Thursday, April 11 and Monday, April 15
To register your child, you must bring along the child’s certified birth certificate, immunization records and custody papers, if applicable.
Students entering kindergarten are required to have several booster vaccines prior to the start of school. Making appointments to get immunizations done now is encouraged.
