On March 27, the sheriff’s office received a call of a burglary in progress in the 1600 block of Sleepy Hollow Drive. The caller advised that her neighbor had broken into her residence and was assaulting her husband.

When deputies arrived on scene they were advised that the suspect, a 36-year-old Coshocton male, had returned to his residence and when deputies contacted him, he brandished a machete and refused to exit his residence or allow deputies in.

A search warrant was then issued for the residence and after making entry, the male was then taken into custody. He is currently being held in the Coshocton County Justice Center pending the filing of formal charges.

On March 31, Kyle S. Stenner, 36-years-old and from the Coshocton area, was formally charged with burglary, a felony of the second degree.

Assisting deputies at the scene was the Coshocton County Sheriff’s Office K-9 unit and the Coshocton County Prosecutor’s Office.
