Lady Bears defeat Cambridge
WARSAW – The River View Lady Bears snatched the lead late in the game in a 5-1 victory over Cambridge on April 18. The game was tied at one with River View batting in the bottom of the fifth when Lauren Krystek singled on a 1-0 count, scoring two runs.
Alyssa Thomas earned the victory on the pitcher’s mound for River View. She surrendered one run on two hits over seven innings, striking out 10 and walking one.
Bailey Hettinger led River View with two hits in three at bats.
