Lady Bears just miss districts
On Feb. 16, the Lady Bears bowling team traveled to Boulevard Lanes for sectional tournament action. They battled all day but fell 117 pins short of moving on to districts, finishing ninth overall.
Leading the way for the Lady Bears were freshman Maeve Gentile with a 462 series, 24th place finish and first alternate to districts missing moving on by one pin, senior Tavia Cooper with a 425 series, 37th place finish and junior Emma Ward with a 393 series and a 48th place finish out of 117 bowlers.
The Lady Bears will be back in action Friday, Feb. 18 at Wabash Lanes for the final match of the season and a chance to lock up back to back conference championships.
