Lady Generals compete in local tournaments
WEST LAFAYETTE – The Ridgewood girls’ golf team competed in the Lady Dawg Invitational on Aug. 12, at Vista Golf Course in Nashport.
Ridgewood’s scores were: Team – 422; Lexi Zimmer – 85 (fifth place); Sydney Matis – 101; and Ally Dotson – 112. The Lady Generals placed eighth out of 11 teams.
On Aug. 9 they competed in the River View Invite at Hickory Flats Golf Course in West Lafayette.
Ridgewood’s scores were: Team – 443; Lexi Zimmer – 80; Sydney Matis – 105; Ally Dotson – 119; and Julia Geer – 139. The Lady Generals placed 13th out of 14 teams.
