Lady Skins beat Newcomerstown
COSHOCTON – Coshocton’s volleyball team defeated Newcomerstown in three straight sets at home – 25-16, 25-16, and 25- 22.
Leaders for Coshocton were: Kindall Shaw – seven kills, nine digs, three aces; Morgan Bryant – six kills, eight digs, five aces; Hailey Helter – five kills, four digs, two aces; and Jalynn West – 24 assists and three aces.
Coshocton’s JV also beat Newcomerstown – 25-20, 25-20. The JV team was led by: Ella Bible – eight kills; Samantha Burch and Lexi Williams – six kills; and Alison Cox – 22 assists and two aces.
On Aug. 27, the Lady Skins unfortunately fell to Marietta in three straight sets – 13-25, 14-25, and 15-25.
Coshocton was led by: Kindall Shaw – four kills, six digs, and one ace; Morgan Bryant, Evelyn Hire and Hailey Helter – three kills each; Morgan also had nine digs; and Jalynn West – 13 assists and two aces.
Coshocton’s JV also lost, 13-25 and 18-25. In this game Coshocton was led by Samantha Burch – five kills and one ace and Addy Gordon had three kills.
