| February 14, 2022

The Lake Park Commissioners have announced that Lori Everhart has decided to retire from her position as Lake Park Executive Director.  She has held the position since 2006. Her last working day will be May 31, but her last official day will be Aug. 31.

Dr. Dave Erwin, chairman of the Lake Park Commissioners, said that Tammi Rogers will be the new executive director of the park. She is currently the program director for Coshocton Recycling and Litter Prevention.

Erwin also shared information about a fundraiser the park will be holding. The Half Marathon/10K/5K will be April 16. Registration is now open. Prices vary depending on which distance you run and what month you register. To register, go to dkraces.com. “The races will begin and end at the park but will go over to town, and the half marathon will be out of town in a couple spots,” he said. “Proceeds from the races will go to the Friends of the Park, which distributes funds for various projects benefiting the park.”
