Larry E. Hodges

Larry E. Hodges, 76, of West Lafayette passed away at Affinity Medical Center in Massillon, Ohio on Saturday August 17, 2013.

Larry was born in Coshocton on April 4, 1937 to the late Edward Guy and Bessie Hazel (Smith) Hodges.

He graduated from Fresno High School in 1955. Larry began working at Shaw Barton in his earlier years, and retired from AK Steel Coshocton Plant in 1997. He truly loved being a husband, dad and grandpa. He also enjoyed spending time in the outdoors, and reminiscing with friends and family about the good old days gone by in Fresno.

Larry is survived by his wife Leann (Hothem) Hodges whom he married December 21, 1973; two daughters Katrina Hodges of Gahanna and Ashley (Andrew) Huston of Dover; a step son Kevin Curtis of Columbus; grandchildren Noelle Pringle, Morgan Huston, Owen Huston, Grayson and Christopher Curtis; two sisters Jane Johnson and Ruth Groff both of Coshocton; a very special nephew Dean Holder; several other nieces and nephews.

Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister Mabel Holder.

Friends may call at The Miller Funeral Home, 639 Main St., Coshocton on Tuesday August 20, 2013 from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM where funeral services will begin at 1:00 PM with Pastor Charles Warren officiating.  Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery, Fresno.
