Laura A. Dickerson, a cherished wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on August 27, 2024, at the age of 61, in her home in Coshocton with her family by her side. Born on March 27, 1963, in Coshocton. Laura lived a life marked by love, dedication, and a spirit that brightened the lives of all who knew her.

Laura’s journey began in Coshocton, it was there that she built her legacy and nurtured her family, alongside her beloved husband of many years, Kenneth B. Dickerson Sr. whom she married May 21, 1982. Together, they raised a family that grew to include their four children, Kenneth B. (Jonathan Karr) Dickerson Jr., Cody A. (Jenna) Dickerson, Shaylyn (Brent Hare) Dickerson, and Chance (Felcia) Dickerson, as well as sixteen grandchildren and five great-grandchildren who all brought immense joy and pride to Laura’s life.

The daughter of Norma (Cutshall) Wilcox and the late Paul Wilcox, and sister to three siblings.

Laura graduated from Ridgewood High School and was a sales associate at Buehlers in Coshocton.

Beyond her professional and family life, Laura had a passion for the simple pleasures of life. She relished the time spent cleaning, mowing grass, and tending to her beautiful flower gardens. Her love for the outdoors was matched by her love for her canine companion, Jax, who was a constant source of joy and comfort.

We take comfort in knowing that Laura’s journey was full of love and that she now rests in peace, having left this world naturally, surrounded by the familiar comforts of her beloved Coshocton. Her life was a gift to us all, and her memory will continue to inspire us to live with the same generosity of spirit and love that she embodied so effortlessly.
