Have you ever wanted to learn to tap dance? The Johnson-Humrickhouse Museum is excited to offer a beginner tap class once a quarter at JH Museum to those ready to give it a try.

No experience or tap shoes are necessary. The best shoes to wear are loafers, oxfords, or any hard sole slick bottom shoe. This class is geared toward adults, and participants will learn the basic steps and rhythm needed to build upon to learn popular steps like the time step, Shim Sham, the Buffalo, and many more.

Classes will be held on Wednesday, Feb. 8 and Wednesday, April 19 from 6-7 p.m. at the museum. Each class will be $10 and registration is required. Registration is available now and can be done by calling 740-622-8710, visiting jhmuseum.org/tap, or visiting the museum.

The Johnson-Humrickhouse Museum is located at 300 N. Whitewoman St. in Coshocton.
