NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING NO. 2

The City of Coshocton intends to apply to the Ohio Development Services Agency for funding through the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Residential Public Infrastructure Grant Program, a federally funded program administered by the State. On October 8, 2019, the City conducted the first public hearing to inform citizens about the CDBG programs, how funds may be used, what activities are eligible, and other important program requirements.

The second public hearing will be held on Wednesday, November 6, 2019 at 6:00 pm at the Kirk Street Events Center, 113 South Kirk Street, West Lafayette, Ohio 43845. This public hearing will give citizens an opportunity to review and comment on the plans for the proposed West Lafayette Waterline Extension Project and the City’s CDBG application before the City submits its application to the Ohio Development Services Agency. Since the percentage of low to moderate income persons in the project area is greater than 51%, this project meets the National Objective by benefiting persons of low to moderate income.
