Lenten Lunches schedule announced
COSHOCTON – The 2018 Coshocton County Lenten Lunches will be held on Wednesdays during Lent beginning on Wednesday, Feb. 21. The luncheons, sponsored by the Coshocton, River View, and West Lafayette Ministerial Associations, are held at The Presbyterian Church in Coshocton on Wednesdays at 11:45 a.m. The food for the luncheons is provided by various churches throughout the county. A donation of $5 is asked for the lunch. Proceeds from the luncheons go to Church Women United for their school clothing program.
The scheduled speakers for this year’s luncheons are as follows:
Feb. 21: John Strasser, Area Director of Fellowship for Christian Athletes
Feb. 28: Dr. David Hire, Coshocton City Schools Superintendent
March 7: Nate McNeal, former Ridgewood School teacher, former principal of the Coshocton Alternative School
March 14: Ken Smailes, pastor of Blissfield and Killbuck UMCs and news director of WTNS Radio
March 21: Christine Sycks, Coshocton County Auditor
