Hinds002COSHOCTON – LeRoy Lewis Hinds, 93, died Saturday, June 3, 2017 at his residence.

He was born Aug. 26, 1923 in Wooster to the late Clifford and Erma (Duncan) Hinds. He was a coal miner for Mobley Coal in Wills Creek, and he was a machine operator for Rockwell (Boeing) in Newark until his retirement in 1985. He was a member of the Roscoe United Methodist Church.

LeRoy was a talented woodworker, and he enjoyed assembling puzzles.

He is survived by his former wife, Hazel Crowthers of Coshocton; several special friends, Royce & Karen Emerson and their dog “Peanut” of Coshocton, Dick & Alice Hoover of Coshocton, and Kathy Milligan of Coshocton; and his dog, “Benji”.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Ray Hinds.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, June 6, 2017 at the Fischer Funeral Home in Warsaw, with Rev. Richard Hoover officiating. Burial will follow in Coshocton Co. Memory Gardens. Visitation is one hour prior to service time at the funeral home. www.fischerfuneralhome.com
