Lester Craun Cline
Lester Craun Cline, 97 of West Lafayette, passed away on Sunday, October 13, 2024. Lester was born on September 13, 1927, in Weyers Cave, Virginia to the late Hugh Edward and Mary Mae Cline. He retired from Fairmont Foods; following his retirement he worked for 10 years at Signature Healthcare of Coshocton. He was a member of the Roscoe United Methodist Church. He enjoyed playing golf, fishing, bowling and spending time with his family. Lester was also a member of the Ruritan Club and a member of the Grange Hall in Virginia.
Lester is survived by his children, Brenda (Courtney) Lynch, Connie (Pat) O’Brien, and Carol (Mel) Wilson; 13 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; sister, Ruth (E.C.) Showalter; and good friend, Jim McCullough.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Beatrice Cline; son, Larry Wayne Cline; daughters, Sandy Childress and Sally McPheeters; sister, Edith Caricofe and brother, Orvin Cline.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 17, 2024, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM, with a funeral service at 1:00 PM, at Given-Dawson-Paisley Funeral Home, with Pastor Bob Mitchell and Jim McCullough officiating. Burial is to follow at Coshocton County Memory Gardens. For those who wish, memorial donations may be made in Lester’s name to Roscoe United Methodist Church at 475 High Street, Coshocton, OH, 43812.
