Murray, LillianCOSHOCTON – Lillian Virginia Murray, 92, a resident of the Coshocton Springs Health & Rehabilitation Center died Sunday, July 19, 2015 at the center.

She was born November 5, 1922 in West Bedford to the late Thomas and Pearl (Dillon) Dobson.

Lillian was a member of the former West Bedford Methodist Church.  She loved to cook and bake.  Her specialties were her donuts, orange cookies, apple pie, and coleslaw.  She lived for her family and especially enjoyed her vacation time in Michigan.  In her younger days, along with her sisters, Fern & Mildred, they sang and performed as “The Dobson Sisters” at many fairs, radio stations, Buckeye Lake, and Hillbilly Park.

She is survived by two daughters, Sandy (Mike) Stoker of Brighton, MI and Vivian Murray of Columbus.  A son, Steve (Nancy) Murray of Coshocton.  Grandchildren, Shelly (Jeff) O’Dell of Pataskala and Marc (Stephanie) Murray of Coshocton.  Great grandchildren, Carli (Austin) Kirby, Ethan Murray, & Keeley Murray.  Step great grandson, Dustin O’Dell.  Several nieces & nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Murray.  Two brothers, Everett & Woodrow Dobson.  Three sisters, Fern Camp, Hazel Davis, & Mildred Payne.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 25, 2015 at 12:00 p.m. at the Fischer Funeral Home in Warsaw with Pastor Dail Parrish officiating.  Burial will be in the Darling Run Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. Saturday.  www.fischerfuneralhome.com
