The Coshocton Christian Tabernacle’s Live Nativity is a tradition for many people. The event was held on Friday and Saturday, Dec. 9-10 from 6:30 – 8:30 p.m. each evening. Friday evening, cars began to line up long before the opening time and by 6:20, the line was to US 36, with cars waiting there, too. The live nativity shows scenes from the life of Jesus, beginning with a market scene, to the taxpayer, to the inn and stable. There are also scenes from his life as a carpenter, to calming the storm in a boat, his death and his resurrection. The event is always free to the public and live animals are used in many scenes.
