I hope and pray all are doing well in this crazy weather.
The chickens are on their way to the processor and we should be bringing in more breasts and thighs. The fudge and trail mixes will be a little longer though.
Recipe time:
BBQ veggie stuffed chicken breasts
2 to 4 boneless skinless breasts
Butter
Onion
Green pepper
Seasoning of your choice. I personally like fresh garlic and seasonal herbs
Butterfly the chicken lightly season the inside, place a 1/2 tbsp of butter and chopped onions and peppers. Close breasts coat the outside with butter and lightly season the outside. Wrap each chicken breast in aluminum foil and place on hot grill at least 350F for about 30 minutes or so. When internal temp of thickest part of the breast is 165F or greater it is done and ready to enjoy.
Bob’s Pickle Patch/ Verda’s Hens
Our chickens are doing well in spite of the heat. They mainly need from us lots of water when it’s hot. So we will have plenty of free-range eggs at Local Bounty this week. We will also have sourdough bread, small cherry pies, chocolate chip peanut butter cookies, black bean brownies, and wheat bread. Thanks to all the loyal customers for shopping at Local Bounty. See you at Customer Appreciation Day July 29th
The McGraws
As always, thank for your support
