| November 25, 2015

We hope your home will be filled with you and yours this Thanksgiving.  Our hours today are 1 – 6 p.m., come get all your last minute fixings!!! Closed tomorrow, Thursday, and open 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. Friday and 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. Saturday.

Updates:

Flying Pig Farm
This week we have greens! Mustard, kale, collards and swiss chard are available in the cooler. We’ll also have small bags of sorrel. High in antioxidants, potassium and fiber, sorrel is delicious in salads or soups. It’s flavor has a mild bite similar to arugula. We’ve also made fresh jams. Try red pepper jelly over cream cheese with crackers for an easy appetizer. We have gifts baskets for early gift giving! Jam samplers, grill rubs with smoking chips, rice samplers and bread and soup mix combos are affordable and delicious! Look for live winter swags for your Christmas decorating. I hope to have them there soon! We hope you have a bountiful Thanksgiving and want you to know how thankful we are to have the opportunity to sell local products to such wonderful people. We truly appreciate your support!

Hillbippie

I will have spoon rests and more soup-we mugs on Friday!!! More garlic graters next week, happy thanksgiving to you all.

Mullet Apiaries

With the holiday season in full swing, we have gift packs available. Honey makes a great hostess gift or a nice thank-you for your postal worker or maybe your hairdresser! We want to wish all of our customers and our fellow vendors a very Happy Thanksgiving! We are grateful for all of you.

Strawberry Hill Farm

We can’t believe we still have romaine lettuce growing at Thanksgiving, but we do! You’ll find it in the cooler at Local Bounty. Also a good number of eggs from our free range hens on pasture. Plus, Mary has baked some of her buttery shortbread for holiday enjoyment. (You can always order ahead to make sure you get yours.) A blessed Thanksgiving to all of you!

Happiest of Holidays
