Vendor Updates

Strawberry Hill Farm

The strawberries are done for this year, but the rain has brought on our sugar snap peas. We’ve brought a good number of packages of the edible-podded peas to the store today. Sugar snap peas are delicious eaten raw, just as they are or chopped in salads. You can also dip them in hummus or another favorite dip. Snap peas can be lightly sautéed or stir-fried, alone or as part of a main dish. They’re tasty no matter what! Besides peas, we also brought more free range pastured eggs and will restock our strawberry jam.

Flying Pig Farm
Check out our jams and jellies for your 4th of July weekend. Red pepper jelly makes a great glaze for pork or chicken, or pour it over a block of cream cheese and serve with crackers. Our orange pineapple zucchini makes a good glaze for chicken kabobs on the grill. Don’t forget Walter’s bug spray too. Our new news…keep an eye out for grass fed beef in the following weeks!

As always thank you for your support!
