Keene Creek Farm

Grilling season is officially upon us. Many of our pork cuts cook up sooooo nicely on the grill of your choice. Brats, sausage patties, pork chops, and more. If you’re into cooking over an open-pit fire, try cooking up a ham hock or bacon in a pot of baked beans. Yu-ummm-y. This week we will load up the last of the feeder pigs we farrowed to be showed at the Coshocton County Fair. We hope they continue to grow nicely and show well at the fair. Thanks so much to all of you for supporting our efforts in providing good eats for your table. We so appreciate the opportunity.

Need some more tomato plants for your garden, now that it’s tomato weather? We’re having a seedling sale at Local Bounty. They’re marked down to $1.50. This is the last week they’ll be at the store, so get them while you can! We will also replenish our strawberry jam supply Tuesday afternoon. Thanks for shopping local!

Rusty Plow Press

We are grateful that our shirts are finding their way out of local stores like Local Bounty and into the community. The first three shirt designs we released as a business that are now available at Local Bounty are: our rendition of the Coshocton Flag, an OHIO design and the Coshocton County Fair shirt. The three garments we now offer are made of tri-blend fabric. So, they’re lightweight, very breathable and comfy.
