Vendor Updates
Grandmason Farm
I will be raising pastured turkeys again this year. They will have access to NON-GMO feed along with good grazing. The week of Nov. 6 is the target date for delivery. My experience is that the turkeys will run anywhere from 12 lbs. up to about 17 lbs. I cannot guarantee weights as they don’t necessarily gain that evenly. I will have order blanks to fill out that will include your desired weight and will try to come as close as possible to your requests – request honored by order date. I will take orders as long as I have turkeys available up to the processing date around Nov. 6. I will advise the actual processing date as soon as it is set. Ordering early will assure you of a turkey and one as close to the weight you want as possible. There will be a $10 non-refundable deposit at the time of the order. I am going to hold the price the same as last year at $5/lbs. Order blanks will be available at Local Bounty. A very early Happy Thanksgiving.

Hello to all our loyal fans!
I will be doing a kombucha tasting at Local Bounty this Friday evening. If you’ve never tried kombucha and have wanted to, this will be the perfect chance to do that! I will be sampling lots of flavors. Bring yourselves and a thirsty palate for a fun and educational evening. I will have kombucha scobys and kombucha brewing kits available for sale. And be sure to drop by Saturday for Local Bounty’s customer appreciation day! I will be there handing out samples as well. Have a great week.

We are looking forward to meeting and greeting our customers on Customer Appreciation Day, July 29. Without you, we couldn’t do the work of making sure the honeybee population continues to thrive. Let’s hope for a little sunshine to brighten up all our days and get the nectar flowing again for the all the pollinators. Grass or ragweed pollen will also return, but if they give you a little scratchy throat, a spoonful or two of honey can be very soothing. Thank you for your continued support!
As Always Thank You For Your Support
