Local land bank nows owns Old Stone Fort
As a result of a judgment entry recently signed by Coshocton County Common Pleas Court Judge Robert J. Batchelor and pursuant to certain sections of the Ohio Revised Code, ownership of the Old Stone Fort has been transferred to the Coshocton County Land Bank.
This means that the Old Stone Fort will not be offered at sheriff sale and the foreclosure proceedings are therefore complete. As a result of this transfer the Coshocton County Land Bank now controls the property and will be able to make all decisions regarding the future transfer of the Old Stone Fort to an entity that will preserve and protect it for future generations.
