Local youth learn about cooking
COSHOCTON – Local youth gathered at Local Bounty July 11 for a kids cooking class.
The item on the menu for this particular class was pizza. The children were each given a piece of pitta bread to cover with a variety of toppings from every color of the rainbow. Once they finished putting on their toppings, the pizzas were cooked on a grill and ate as a snack.
There will be two more classes held this summer on Thursday, July 25 and Wednesday, Aug. 28. There are two classes on both days with one starting at 10 a.m. and another at 11 a.m. Classes are held at Local Bounty located at 22951 S.R. 83 North in Coshocton.
