Lois Lautenschleger
Lois Lautenschleger, 93 of Millersburg and formerly of Baltic, died on Tuesday, February 28, 2023 at Majora Lane Nursing Home in Millersburg.
She was born in Coshocton County on June 19, 1929 to the late Walter and Ethel (Davis) Nelson and married Jacob Lautenschleger on April 6, 1957 and died on February 18, 2021.
She had worked for Mast Leather at Walnut Creek and the former Swiss Hat Restaurant in Sugarcreek. She was a member of St. Peter’s United Church of Christ at Fiat.
She is survived by her son Neil (Marlene) Lautenschleger of Fresno; 3 grandchildren, Angela Lautenschleger of Fresno, Shena (Matt) Nichols of West Unity, OH and Jason Lautenschleger of Fresno; 2 great grandchildren Collin and Skye Nichols and her sister, Nadine Evans of Indiana.
In addition to her parents and husband, she is preceded in death by 3 brothers, Dale, Max, and Earl and 2 sisters, Imogene and Harriet.
Services will be held on Friday, March 3, 2023 at 11:00 am at Smith-Varns Funeral Home with Pastor Dennis Landaw officiating. Burial will be in Fairfield Cemetery in West Lafayette. Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday, March 2, 2023 from 6 to 8 pm.
