Lonestar in concert at Kent State Tuscarawas PAC

NEW PHILADELPHIA – The award-winning country music group Lonestar will be in concert Saturday, Nov. 5 at 7:30 p.m.at the Kent State University at Tuscarawas Performing Arts Center.

Lonestar is known for merging their country roots with strong melodies and rich vocals. They have amassed Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) certified sales in excess of 10 million album units since their national launch in 1995, and achieved 10 #1 country hits including “No News,” “Come Crying To Me,” and their crossover smash hit “Amazed,” which was also charted #1 on the Billboard Hot 100. This multi-platinum music quartet recently released their new album “Never Enders.”

The band’s awards include a 1999 Academy of Country Music (ACM) Single of the Year for “Amazed (the song also won the Song of the Year Award) and the 2001 Country Music Association (CMA) Vocal Group of the Year.

Concert tickets start at $44 and can be purchased at the Performing Arts Center box office, online at www.kent.edu/tusc/pac or by calling 330-308-6400. The box office is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., and on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Free parking is available for all shows.
