Loretta Sue McCoy

MCCOY Picture croppedCOSHOCTON – Loretta Sue McCoy, 73, of Coshocton passed away Friday, December 16, 2016 at Coshocton Springs Health and Rehabilitation.  She was born in Coshocton on January 12, 1943 to the late Jesse and Jean (Danner) Dayton.

On April 12, 1961 Loretta married John C. McCoy, whom passed away January 23, 2005.

Loretta was a homemaker all her life.  She enjoyed bingo, crafts, animals and spending time with her family.

She is survived by her daughters, Kathleen (Wayne) Lauvray of Coshocton, Kim (Frank) Trull of Warsaw, and Elizabeth (Kevin) Little of Coshocton; daughter-in-laws Deloris McCoy who was married to Jesse and Theresa Atwood who was married to Todd; sisters Mary (Dale) Hamilton and Nicki (Rick) Walker; 19 grandchildren, 39 great-grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren; and her feline companion, Ethan.

Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her sons Todd A. McCoy and Jesse J. McCoy; sister Sherry (Charles) Rice; brother Michael Dayton; and great granddaughter Vayda Kathleen Hullfish.

The family would like to extend a special thank you too, Lisa Conley for always being there in a time of need.
