Louise M. Hootman

Louise M. Hootman, 74, of West Lafayette passed away at her home on Wednesday April 1, 2020.

Louise was born in Coshocton County on December 17, 1945 to the late Herman and Grace (Moffatt) Howell.

She was a homemaker throughout her life, loved raising her family, baking, seeing her grandchildren and watching them play their sports.

Louise is survived by her three daughters Melissa (Mike) Mullett, Michelle (Todd) Stoffer and Mary Ann Hootman all of West Lafayette; four grandchildren Brianna Mullett, Tanner Stoffer, Lindsay Mullett and Trey Stoffer; two step grandchildren Todd (Heather) Stoffer Jr. and Ashley (Crosby) Stipes; siblings Margie (Sonny) Easterday of Coshocton, Louella (Jim) Kerr of Nashport and Carolyn (Richard) Flowers of Fresno; brother in law Milton L. (Katie) Hootman of West Lafayette; sisters in law Betty Howell of Coshocton and Joan Howell of Fresno; numerous nieces and nephews.

Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Frederick S. Hootman Jr. who passed away in 1990; two brothers Gerald Howell and Wayne Howell.

Due to the current health concerns linked with COVID-19, the family will be holding private services at this time.  Interment will be held in Canal Lewisville Cemetery on Saturday April 4, 2020 with Pastor Dan Eggan officiating.
