Mabel Foglesong

Mabel Leone Foglesong, 88, of Coshocton passed away at 2:40 A.M., Monday, January 6, 2014, at the Coshocton Health and Rehabilitation Center.

Born July 11, 1925 in Perry Township, Coshocton County, she was the daughter of the late Claude and Lena Marie (Laflin) Crowthers.

A homemaker, Mabel enjoyed playing cards and will be remembered at the Care Center as the “Bingo Queen”.

Family members include two daughters Ruth Ann Parks and Evelyn Faye (John) Rodgers all of Coshocton; step-daughter Patricia (Steve) Douglas of Florida; five grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; two sisters Hazel Crowthers and Alice Ross both of Coshocton and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents Mabel was preceded in death by husbands Denzil Wayne Hebron, Clifford B. Foglesong, and three brothers Francis, Bert, Richard Crowthers;  three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Services will be held at 1:00 P.M., Thursday, January 9, 2014, with Rev. Steve Sullivan officiating at the Free Funeral Home, Coshocton.  Interment will follow at South Lawn Cemetery.  Calling hours will be held from 12 Noon until 1:00 P.M., Thursday, prior to the funeral service.

Memoriums may be made to Hospice of Coshocton County, P.O. Box 1284, Coshocton, OH 43812.  Envelopes are available at the Free Funeral Home.

The family expresses their sincere appreciation to all the caring staff members at Coshocton Health Care Center and to her many friends for their visits that made Mabel happy during her seven years there, and to the Hospice nurses who helped Mabel through her final illness.
