Holder MabelMabel Lois Holder, 90, of West Lafayette joined her beloved husband Dessel at 2:00 A.M., Friday, January 18, 2013 at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus, Ohio.

Born September 12, 1922 in Fresno, she was the daughter of the late Edward Guy and Bessie Hazel (Smith) Hodges.

A 1940 graduate of Fresno High School, she had been employed in the Payroll Departments at the former General Electric Company and Montgomery Ward in Coshocton. A member of the Fresno United Methodist Church, she will be remembered for her love of family, her family dinners with her good cooking and baking, and being a great “Mom”.

Loving family members include a son Robert Dean Holder, a daughter Marsha Jane (Roger) Warne; two grandsons Justin Roger Warne, Jordan Lee (Sara) Warne; two great-grandchildren Jeremy Jordan and Kyna Lyn Warne all of West Lafayette; two sisters Jane Johnson, Ruth Groff of Coshocton; a brother Larry Edward (Leann) Hodges of West Lafayette and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to her parents, Mabel was preceded in death by her husband Dessel Paul Holder who died July 5, 2000. 

Graveside Services for family members will be held at 11:00 A.M., Monday, January 21, 2013, at Fairview Cemetery in Fresno with Pastor Mary Owen officiating.

Memoriums may be made to the Christian Appalachian Project, P. O. Box 55911, Lexington, KY  40555-5911. Envelopes are available at Free Funeral Home, Coshocton who is assisting the family with arrangements.
