‘Mamma Mia!’ auditions announced
COSHOCTON – The Coshocton Footlight Players are pleased to announce upcoming auditions for their summer musical, “Mamma Mia!” Through the magic of ABBA’s timeless hits, this delightful musical tells the heartwarming story of a young woman’s search for her birth father on a Greek island paradise.
Auditions will be held on Sunday, March 24, at 2 p.m. at the Triple Locks Theater. If auditioning, please prepare a musical number for auditions with your choice of a song. Songs from “Mamma Mia!” are encouraged. A piano accompanist will be available or bring your own accompaniment.
There are 13 named roles available, plus a chorus of up to 17 people. Ages 16-65. All roles sing and dance. Please wear appropriate attire and shoes to auditions to do some movement exercises.
Performances will be July 18, 19, 20, 25, 26, and 27, 2019, at 8 pm and July 28 at 2 pm. Please note, this show will run for two weekends only.
