Man charged with robbery

Jeremy H  FergusonCOSHOCTON – On June 9, the Coshocton County Sheriff’s Office received a call from the loss prevention officer at Woodbury Outfitters in reference to a possible theft. While officers were in route, an altercation ensued over the adult male attempting to leave the area. Before uniformed officers could arrive, the suspect fled the area in a vehicle along with another adult male and two small children.

After a lengthy pursuit, two males were taken into custody without further incident and the two children were assisted by Coshocton County Children Services.

On June 10, Jeremy H. Ferguson, 34-years-old and from the Trinway area, was charged with robbery, a felony of the third degree. Additional charges may be filed, pending the outcome of the investigation.

Assisting the sheriff’s office with this incident were Coshocton County Children Services and The Coshocton County Prosecutor’s Office.

This incident remains under investigation by your Coshocton County Sheriff’s Office.
