Man taken by medical helicopter after accident

COSHOCTON – On Nov. 17, at 11:02 a.m. the Coshocton County Sheriff’s Office received several 911 calls in reference to an accident on South Second Street and Brown’s Lane.

Upon arrival of emergency personnel, it was discovered that Steven L Guilliams (64) of Coshocton had been driving his 2009 Harley Davidson Motorcycle northbound on South Second Street.  A Christina M. Foster (35) of Coshocton was driving a 2006 Honda Accord southbound on South Second Street and came to the intersection of Browns Lane and attempted to turn left onto Browns Lane. Foster did not see Guilliams and struck the motorcycle in the intersection. Guilliams was ejected from the motorcycle. Guilliams was wearing helmet.

Guilliams was flown from the scene by Med Flight and flown to Grant Hospital in Columbus. Guilliams was listed in stable condition.

Assisting at the scene was Coshocton County EMS, Coshocton City Fire Department, Med Flight, Princes Wrecker Service and REACT. This incident remains under investigation by the Coshocton County Sheriff’s Office.
