Marcena Mae Foster
Marcena Mae Foster, 75, formerly of Adams Mills and Warsaw, passed away at 6:42 A.M., Tuesday, September 9, 2014 at the Autumn Extended Care Facility in Coshocton following a lengthy illness.
Born December 9, 1938 in Coshocton County, Marcena was the daughter of the late Carl and Ora (Severns) Lacy.
A 1956 graduate of Conesville High School, Marcena had been a baker at the former Coshocton YWCA for 10 years followed by six years with the Siegrist Farm Market in Adams Mills. Marcena enjoyed camping and will be remembered for her great cooking ability.
On September 30, 1956, she married Gary Edward Foster who preceded her in death on March 16, 2014. Survivors include two sons Rex E. (Lindy) Foster and Russ A. (Carolyn) Foster both of Conesville; two grandchildren and five step-grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; a sister Joan Howard of West Lafayette; several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband and parents, Marcena was preceded in death by two brothers.
Services were at 1:00 P.M., Friday, September 12, 2014 at the Free Funeral Home, Coshocton with Pastor Luanne West officiating. Interment followed at South Lawn Cemetery.
Calling hours were from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M., Thursday, September 11, 2014 and until time of services on Friday at the Free Funeral Home.
