Marian Rochelle Stephen

Marian Rochelle Stephen, 60, departed the earth for her heavenly home with Jesus on November 28, 2022 surrounded by family at her home.  She fought a hard fight against liver cancer for nearly two years.

Marian was born in Cambridge, Ohio to the late Wayne Warne and Phyllis Rippith (Koons).  In January of 2011, she married the love of her life, Roger Stephen, who survives with their children Roy Jason Green, Kevin McKay, Kaity McKay, Kathleen McKay, Robert Brock (Michaelle) Stephen, Andrea (Nick) Garrett, and Allison (Jen) Stephen; and siblings Lynn (Gary) Treweiler, Randy Rippeth, Goldie (Charlie) Bugglin, Kimberly Warne, Marilyn Bartling, Jerry (Sandra) Stephen, Bruce (Debbie) Stephen, Barb Stephen, Bev (Steve) McComb, Paul “Whitey” Stephen, Randy “Sneak” (Jeanne) Stephen, and Wes Rank; and grandchildren Royce Skyler Green, Max Nelson, Michael Wagner, Emma Nelson, Devan Garrett, Javen Bice, Isabella Stephen, Logan Fisher, Abrianna Self, Paul Yawn III, and Brandon Yawn. Marian was preceded in death by her sister Twila Rippeth, and sister-in-law Brenda (Wes) Rank.

Marian worked as a waitress, a sole proprietor of transporting disabled and elderly to appointments, Meals-on-Wheels driver, CCCTA driver, and a Beyond-the-Bell employee at Ridgewood Middle School.  She volunteered with Women of Witness Jail Ministry, Pregnancy Distress Center, the Word Worship Center Vacation Bible School and church cleaning team.  Marian’s hobbies included arts and crafts, doTERRA essential oils, plants and animals, Bible Studies, and board/card games.

She never said no to hosting friends and family in her home, including a German exchange student.  Marian Stephen lived the Christian life she taught.

Friends called at the Miller Funeral Home, 639 Main Street, Coshocton, Ohio 43812 on Thursday, December 1, 2022 from 4:00pm – 6:00pm and a Celebration of Life began at 6:00pm with Pastor Jim Gross officiating. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be directed toward Word Worship Center, Christmas Fund; envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
