Marianne Bouris

Marianne Bouris, age 62, of Coshocton, passed away on Friday, January 10, 2025, with her children by her side. She fought a very hard fight until the very end, with her spirit never wavering. She was born on July 2, 1962, in Pittsburgh, PA to the late Francis and Mary Ann (Murphy) Langan and was one of twelve children.

In 1980, she graduated from High School and became a Special Education Teacher’s Aide at Woodland Hills School District for many years.  Marianne spent 44 years with her loving husband, Anthony, before his passing on August 30, 2024.

Marianne was a devoted mother and YaYa who helped raise her grandchildren throughout the years. She enjoyed reading, watching her TV shows, and had a wonderful sense of humor. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends.

She is survived by her four children, Jessica Bouris of Coshocton, Steven (Karley Abel) Bouris of Coshocton, Alexis Bouris of Warsaw and Justine (CJ) Wheeler of New Philadelphia, Ohio; nine grandchildren, Mikayla, Anthony, JoAnn, Brooklynn, Rylie, Brennen, Haven, Steven, and Jax. One great-grandson, D’Kharii; 11 siblings, Mary Fran Langan, Rosemarie Langan, Judy (Richard) Wright, Barbara (Pat) Langan, Lorraine Langan, Frank (Tracy) Langan, Joseph Langan, Patrick (Kelly) Langan, Jeanmarie (Thomas) Spradlin, Stephen (Tasha) Langan, and Andrew (Jodi) Langan; along with many nieces and nephews. She was a loving sister-in-law to Harry (Linda) Bouris, Zeda Brown, Panorea Bouris, and Stella Sylvester.

Calling hours will be held on Thursday, January 16, 2025, from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at Given-Dawson-Paisley Funeral Home. A funeral service will follow at 1:00 pm at the funeral home. Burial will be held at South Lawn Cemetery.
