Marilyn E. Krownapple

KrownappleWARSAW- Marilyn Eleanor Krownapple, 68, died Sunday, April 30, 2017 at her residence.

She was born Sept. 7, 1948 in Burbank to the late Paul W. and Mary J. (Miller) Sampsel.  She was a big fan of “Jamboree in the Hills”, which she attended with her husband for twenty years.  She enjoyed camping, mushroom hunting (but mainly eating them), playing cards, finding yard sales, and mostly hanging out with her grandkids.

She is survived by her husband of 52 years, John J. Krownapple of Warsaw; four children, John Joseph (Kim) Krownapple of Warsaw, Tracy Byland of Warsaw, James (Jacqui) Krownapple of Clark, and Raymond (Andrea) Krownapple of Killbuck; twelve grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren plus one expected; two brothers, Fred (Becky) Sampsel of Blissfield, and Gerald “Butch” Sampsel of Wooster; one sister, Judy Mizer of Warsaw; and several nieces & nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one great-grandchild, five brothers, and one sister.

Marilyn’s family would like to give special thanks to the caring staff of Health Services of Coshocton and Community Hospice of Coshocton Co. for everything they did for her.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, May 4, 2017 at the Fischer Funeral Home in Warsaw, with Pastor Ron Davis officiating.  Burial will take place at a later time in Spring Mountain Cemetery.  Visitation is one hour prior to service time at the funeral home.  www.fischerfuneralhome.com

A Celebration of Life will be held at the Miley Community Center, 1332 SR 83 in Clark, OH on Thursday, May 4th form 5-8 p.m.
