Pew002222COSHOCTON – Marilyn Irene Pew, 83, a resident of the Walnut Grove Care Center and formerly of E. Church St. Warsaw, died Friday, September 30, 2016 at the care center.

She was born Nov. 20, 1932 in Piedmont, Ohio to the late Rev. Ernest E. and Mable (Buss) Bacon.

She was a founding member of the Jr. Sorosis Club.  She enjoyed watching her grandchildren in all their sporting events and was an avid Ohio State Buckeye fan.

She is survived by her daughters, Linda (Richard) Carpenter of Kannapolis, NC and Lori Lawrence of Springfield.  A son, Jack (Tammy) Pew of Newcomerstown.  Grandchildren, Brad (Kathy) Ringwalt of Brinkhaven, Craig (Rhonda) Ringwalt of Warsaw, Robin (Eric) Postell of Sunbury, Michelle (Gary) Fischer of Warsaw, Shane Pew of California, Jamie (Josh) Henson of Gettysburg, PA,, and Lindsey (John) Fout of Columbus.  Several great and great great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her brothers, William E. & Henry M. Bacon, and a great grandson, Evan A. Wright.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, Oct. 4, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at the Fischer Funeral Home in Warsaw with Pastor Ron Davis officiating.  Burial will be in the Forest Hill Cemetery in Canton, Ohio.  Visitation is Monday, Oct. 3, 2016 from 6-8 p.m.  www.fischerfuneralhome.com
