Mark Anthony Bordenkircher
Mark Anthony Bordenkircher, age 80, of Coshocton, passed away on Monday, February 12, 2024. He was born in Coshocton on June 9, 1943, to the late Mark and Arabelle (Easterday) Bordenkircher.
After graduating from Roscoe High School, Mark worked at Clow, had his own milk route and then became a diesel mechanic. He also worked in construction at the Longaberger Basket and golf course.
Mark enjoyed camping on the river and making toy electric trucks for the truck pulls at the Walhonding Community Yard Sales. He was a master craftsman and enjoyed working with wood. He was also a brilliant inventor. He thought up new ideas while sleeping and would then go to his garage the next morning to work on his new invention, bringing them to life.
He survived by his three sons, David (Jonalee) Bordenkircher of Howard, Kevin (Sharon) Bordenkircher of Fredricktown, and Matthew (Susan) Bordenkircher of Howard; eight grandchildren, Kevin, Roxanne, Courtney, Brandon, Christy, Cameron, Tyler and Tessa; 12 great-grandchildren; siblings, Joe Bordenkircher of Canal Lewisville, Becky (Gary) Berry of Coshocton, Jeff Bordenkircher of Newark and Bobby Bordenkircher of Coshocton; and lifelong companion, Joyce Bordenkircher of Coshocton.
Calling hours will be held on Saturday, February 17, 2024, from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm at Given-Dawson-Paisley Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held at 12:30 pm on Saturday at South Lawn Cemetery.
