Mary L. Mossman

Mary L. Mossman, 93, of Coshocton went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Wednesday, September 7, 2022.

Mary was born on June 28, 1929, in Coshocton to the late Paul and Zelma “Dolly” (Noland) Opperman.

Mary graduated from Coshocton High School before attending Cosmetology School for a year.  On June 27, 1948, she married the love of her life Russell E. Mossman. They were married for sixty-three years; Russell passed away on January 29, 2012.

Mary was a lifetime member of the Calvary Baptist Church in Coshocton.  She also enjoyed being involved with the Farm Bureau, Ohio Agency on Aging, Card Club and Library Club.

She is survived by her daughter Jennifer (Rick) Chambers of Coshocton and a son Jeffrey P. (Deborah) Mossman of Wheeling, IL; three grandchildren, Mark D. (Cheryl) Chambers of Asheville, NC, Tracy L. (Steve) Lamparelli of Johns Island, SC, and David R. (Keli) Chambers of Honolulu, HI; six great grandchildren, Andrew and Adam Chambers, Anna Rose and Zachary Lamparelli, Kolton and Kylie Davis.

Along with her parents and husband, she is preceded in death by her infant siblings, Paul Jr., Barbara and Martha.

Friends called at The Miller Funeral Home, 639 Main St., Coshocton on Sunday, September 11, 2022, from 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM and one hour prior to the service on Monday.  Funeral services for Mary were held at the funeral home on Monday, at 11:00 AM with Pastor Sam Brown officiating.  Interment followed in Roscoe Cemetery.
