Mary M. “Maggie” Whyde

WEST LAFAYETTE – Mary M. “Maggie” Whyde, 75, of West Lafayette, Ohio passed away at her home on Wednesday June 6, 2018.

Maggie was born in Zanesville, Ohio on November 20, 1942 to the late Floyd and Mary M. (Lawyer) Williamson.

She was an assistant dietician for a local nursing home, home health aide and member of the Coshocton Baptist Church.  She enjoyed playing cards, dice, making dinners for her family and going boating and fishing.

She is survived by her children James (Vickie) Whyde of West Lafayette and Lori (James) Glazer of Newcomerstown; brother William “Bill” (Becky) Williamson of FL; five grandchildren Dustin (Cortney) Whyde, Natasha (Tyler) Thomason, Tyson (Desiree) Whyde, Hayley (Chris Savage) Glazer and Lexi (Dakota Zeigler) Glazer; seven great grandchildren, one more on the way; numerous nieces and nephews; and her special canine companion “Jasmine.”

Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her long time companion Robert O. Gross; brother Chuck Williamson; three sisters Marlene Freetage, Linda Maloy and Nancy McCormick Norman

Friends may call at The Miller Funeral Home, 639 Main St., Coshocton on Saturday June 9, 2018 from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM where a funeral service will begin at 1:00 PM with Rev. Kris Giles officiating.  A cremation will take place after the funeral services and burial of her cremated remains will be held in Everals Chapel Cemetery, Newcomerstown at a later date.
