Mary R. Waybright
COSHOCTON- Mary R. Waybright, a resident of Coshocton Springs Health and Rehab Center, formerly of Warsaw, died Tuesday, August 8, 2017 after a 30-year battle with Parkinson’s disease.
Mary was born on January 29, 1931 in Hightown, VA to the late Aurther and Grace Rexrode.
She was a graduate of Blue Grass High School in Virginia. Mary married the late Troy Waybright, Jr. on December 13, 1952. They moved to Coshocton County, Ohio in 1955 as Troy began his teaching career at Union High School. Troy preceded Mary in death on April 8, 2002.
Mary worked as a cook at Union and Warsaw Elementary Schools in the River View Local School District, until she retired in 1988. Mary was a member of the Warsaw Presbyterian Church. She was also a member of the Wakatomika Ohio Eastern Stars.
Mary is survived by her daughter, Malinda (Michael) Baker of Coshocton; two grandsons, Judd (Nicole) Baker of Coshocton and Lucas (Allyssa) Baker of Dublin; two great grandsons, Brennon and Braylon; a sister, Isabelle Fisher of Staunton, VA; sisters-in-law, Ann Rexrode of Hightown, VA, Jean Waybright of Alexandria, VA, and Ardath Murphy of Circleville, WV; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, Mary was preceded in death by a sister, Lucille; and eight brothers, Forrest, Roscoe, Herbert, Warren, Ashby, Everett, Berlie and his twin stillborn brother.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 13, 2017 at the Fischer Funeral Home in Warsaw with the Pastor Ron Davis officiating. Burial will follow at Valley View Cemetery. Visiting hours will be from 6 – 8 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 12 at the funeral home, and also one hour prior to service time on Sunday.
