Maxine Leindecker Geese
Maxine Leindecker Geese of Fresno passed away on Sunday, January 14, 2024.
She was the daughter of Myron and Cora Leindecker of Fresno.
Maxine was an educator for over 30 years in the Ridgewood School District. She was a charter member of the Fresno Bible Church. She was a member of the educator sorority of Delta Kappa Gamma, and a part of the Junior Guild of West Lafayette.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband of 59 years, Thomas Geese; brother, Garry Leindecker; sister, Mary Ellen Wyler and grandson, Adam Wartian.
She is survived by her son, Craig (Debi) Geese; daughter, Carol (John) Wartian; grandson, Tyler Geese; granddaughters, Shea (Greg) Bahmer and Rachel (Zane) Austin; great-grandchildren, Kade Geese and Lucy, Grayson and Marley Bahmer; brother, Larry (Sally) Leindecker along with nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation will take place at noon Friday, January 19, at Fresno Bible Church. The funeral service will immediately follow at 1 p.m. at the church with Pastor Chris Cutshall officiating.
